Celebrating Week 100 With a Blogging Break

Amazingly, this is the 100th week of the Pounds Off Playoff. WooHoo! (Cue virtual balloon drop)

I've had a lot of fun with the blog and made many good friends along the way. I've lost 25 pounds - not nearly enough, but a major turnaround from where I was headed. But once the original 16 eating plan bracket finished, I plateaued.

I'm excited to announce that I'm going to a new playoff starting January 1st: The Pounds Off World Series.

In the meantime, I'm going to take the rest of the month off from blogging to focus on work and then family. For the rest of December, I'll live by the following guidelines:

  • Drink lots of water
  • Eat lots of fruits and vegetables
  • Go easy on carbs
  • Exercise as much as possible
Come on back for an exciting eating plan competition starting January 1st. Happy holidays everyone. Make good decisions, enjoy friends and family, and have fun everybody!

Enjoy your time off.
I like to take breaks from virtual world once in a while too so I can focus on real people. :)
Congrats on getting into the world series. 25lbs is a lot. Just try carrying a 25lb backpack all day long.

You are always so informative, Alan. I am looking forward to seeing what you have in mind for the World Series.

I am using these next two weeks to eat reasonably and get my head ready for a great 2012. See you then.
