I'm calorie counting again.
Last week we had a family movie night and watched Apollo 13. Among many dramatic scenes is the final re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. They made their best plan and went with it. For that period of time, as they fought against our protective layer, they had to trust and wait to come out safely on the other side.
This is my re-entry. Yesterday was Day 1. By 9:30, I was asleep on the couch, hungry and out of energy. Today, I was hungry for lunch and hungry for dinner. My plan calls for me to eat 800-900 fewer calories than maintenance level per day. That amount will shrink as times goes by, but for right now it's hunker down and stay the course. The other side will be worth it.
Ann, Tish, Michele, and Clyde, thanks for your advice on my last post. I'm all in.

Good luck! And, I LOVE that movie. I'm really not even sure why.
Good for you, Alan. I would suggest lots of water around late afternoon and dinnertime. Curbs the appetite for evening. I also try to not eat after 8 pm, but if so, I now keep blueberries in the freezer and munch on those slowly while watching tv. It's not ice cream, but it ain't bad.
So many people refocusing the last few days, including myself. It seems odd seeing that we are heading into the fall and its not like its beach season. Good Luck!
You can do it! I agree. Push the fluids!!
